Little Dipper
The one at the water’s edge, sleeping six. A king bedroom, twin beds up the spiral staircase, and two kayaks sitting on the grass about twenty steps from the lake.
What it’s like
Smaller, and much closer to the water.
The Little Dipper sits where the grass drops away to the shoreline, low enough that the lake takes up most of what you see from the deck. The Big Dipper has the better glass wall. This one has the better position, and on a still morning the water is close enough to hear.
Inside it’s one open room: kitchen, dining table, sofas and a wood stove, with the bedroom off to one side and a black spiral staircase going up to the loft. There’s a Pac-Man cabinet up there. Downstairs there’s a full bath, and a half bath so nobody has to wait.
Six people is the ceiling. A king in the bedroom, two twins up in the loft, and the living room sofa folds out to a queen. It suits a couple, or a family who’d rather be close to the water than have a second bedroom.

The beach and dock are a two-minute walk.
Everything between the two domes is shared: the sand beach, the dock, the mini golf course and the play area. The Little Dipper is the closer of the two to all of it.
Both domes are in the photograph, at either end of the peninsula. Booking the Little Dipper gets you the Little Dipper. Book both and nobody else is out there.
